About Me

I joined Cresta as engineer #13 in its series A. Cresta was one of the first companies to apply GPT/BERT to industry. Today, the company is valued at $1.6B and backed by a16z, Sequoia, and other leading VC firms. Inspired by ChatGPT, waves of new companies seeking to apply AI to different industries have taken off in the past nine months. But through conversations with peers and colleagues, I noticed a lack of critical content discussing the intersection of the technology itself and its application to other fields. In this newsletter, I seek to unpack challenges and advice by sharing my own perspective and talking with industry experts.
